I know. I know… some of you are rightfully wondering why it took 10 months since the release of the Tweelin app for Android, to deliver its iOS sibling.

In this announcement, I will certainly satisfy your curiosity!

Tweelin for iOS incorporates months of customer-driven fine tuning

As Tweelin evolved from a phone-number-centric service, available through mobile apps, to an email-based enterprise-grade service delivered across all your devices, some key functions had to be developed, driven by our vision plus a constant stream of customer feedback.

Manage personal and business wishes from a single app

For those who don’t mind blurring the line between personal and work life, Tweelin provides the ability to link multiple accounts and manage them from any Tweelin app on any of your devices.

Let’s say you are an avid Tweelin user and you get hired by ABC Corp. During the new employee onboarding you discover that ABC uses Tweelin, and that your corporate email and calendar may be leveraged by the service to connect you with your colleagues magically.

You can now go to your app settings, link the new work account, securely access your corporate calendar, and centralize the management of all your wishes, personal and work-related, into one single app.

All the Tweelin enterprise capabilities and perks that your new employer has enabled, will be inherited by your Tweelin app seamlessly.

Accounts can also be unlinked. But that is a topic that will be covered in a future post.

Login with your account of choice

Login is implemented across devices through a secure web service offering the ability to login via Apple or Google, as well as a classic sign up with username and password.

In case of linked accounts, the identity provider you choose does not matter. You can choose to login using any of the linked emails and you will always access the same account, featuring the same wishes.

Get connected at the right moment, across all your devices

When you get Tweelin, you not only get a Serendipity Assistant for your main phone. You can have it on any number of phones and/or laptops pointing to the same account.

When figuring out the right moment, Tweelin will factor in the telemetry from all the devices involved, increasing the overall accuracy.

So, if you have Tweelin on your personal and work iPhones, your availability is determined by considering the telemetry generated by both devices.

Do you have 100 iPhones? It still works.

Understand how your data contributes to the right moment accuracy

One of the key questions our users ask is how their data is utilized to connect them with other people.

Despite the fact Tweelin Inc. is designed to meet the highest enterprise security standards and does not collect user data other than the current relevant telemetry snapshot needed to figure out the right moment, some users aren’t comfortable with giving all the permissions needed during onboarding.

For that reason we have designed an experience that clearly ties the permissions needed by the Tweelin apps with the overall accuracy of the right moment.

It is noteworthy to point out that, as of today, granting Tweelin all the permissions it needs leads to an 88% wish fulfillment rate, as opposed to the average 40% success rate of an impromptu call.
